Home care agencies are ever evolving‚ clients are gained and lost, policies are updated and improved, new owners arrive and depart. We will examine the lifecycle of a non-medical agency, first identifying what is necessary to begin and how one becomes an agency owner. Second, we highlight best practices for growth and improving an agency‚ value to both clients and future owners. Finally, we cover how to exit and transition smoothly to new ownership, maintaining continuity of service for clients and caregivers. The presentation aims to help you think about your agency at a high level, a perspective easily lost amidst day-to-day management.
